Artists’ studios and craft classes in a former school
A closed-down elementary school in Goa-eup (고아읍), Gumi City, was turned into artists’ workshops in 2000. Its old classrooms became studios for oil painting, ceramics, Korean paper (hanji) craft and woodwork. Craft sessions are booked by phone for groups of five or more.
By bus: take bus 174, 174-1, 52 or 52-1 to the Hoengsan-ri Daebanggol (횡산리 대방골) bus stop, then walk 2 minutes. Please call before you visit (+82-54-482-0638).
